Welcome to Design Foundation! In this module, you will be introduced to how consumer behaviour influences design--providing you with the opportunity to become familiar with what it means to be a consumer and how the needs and wants of a consumer ultimately dictate how marketers develop and advertise their products or brands.

The purpose of this module is to provide you with the ability to understand the foundation principles, theories and models influencing consumer behaviour and how marketers use this information to research, investigate and create designs to meet their target audience.

  • Consumer behaviour
  • Ethics and copyright
  • Research and environmental analysis.
