People with this qualification can be the lifeblood of almost any business. Whether that business is your own or someone else’s, the knowledge gained in these modules will be an asset for your future career.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities.

Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of technical and moderately complex administrative and operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance for others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others. They may provide bookkeeping or assistant accounting skills in small to medium businesses or work as part of a team in a finance department.
