The Campus Manager is responsible for all things that happen at a campus level. They look after the general operations, all outcomes (incl academics, parity, graduate outcomes), HR questions, Health & Safety. They however don’t do all of the work themselves, a Campus Manager has plenty of support teams, that help them with these different parts of their campus operations, to ensure it runs successfully. Some of these teams are listed below. As a new tutor your first point of call will be your Campus Manager.

All campuses are assigned a Learner Success Lead. Some LSL’s will look after multiple campuses, this depends on what the needs are within each campus. A Learner Success Lead supports the CM by ensuring equitable outcomes are achieved for their particular campus. There are 3 priority learners when we are focusing on equitable outcomes; Maori, Pacifica and students with a disability.

The LSL‘s specialise in supporting these learners and providing, learning tools, support and training to tutors on best practices when supporting these learners.

You may have more than 1 Course Advisor on your campus. A Course Advisor is the person that enrols students into the programme of choice. They conduct a campus tour for the new student and sometimes their whanau. They are the first point of contact for any new student looking to enrol into one of our programmes.

All campuses will have a form of a Campus Administrator (this could be a shard role, or a hybrid role, depending on the size of your campus). This role is responsible for greeting all new visitors, they will work with the CM to ensure H & S is adhered to. They are a general support for the campus staff on all things administrative.

Some of our larger campuses will have a Team Leader. This role was designed to support the Campus Manager, staff and students with day to day operations. If the Campus Manager is not available, or is off site, the Team Leader is normally then in charge of the campus daily operations.

Some of our campuses have a senior tutor, they are a great person to reach out to as a new tutor when you are wanting to better understand your role as a tutor. Senior Tutors have been in the tutoring role for longer than most other tutors and have knowledge and experience in the classroom.

A Career Navigator, is available to students to support them into employment. They are always connecting with relevant industry partners to ensure we have a strong relationship, so that we become their first choice when choosing employees.
