Alongside the tutor-specific documentation and resources, NZMA has in place our Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS defines NZMA organisational standards within our policy and process, and this ensures alignment with legislation, rules, and regulations set by NZQA & TEC for the registration, operation, and funding of PTEs.
Our QMS applies across all aspects of our business operations. It provides a framework to ensure compliance, uphold the principles of Te Tiriti, reflect the priorities, objectives, and principles of government education strategies, and support quality outcomes for NZMA stakeholders.

At an organisational level, the QMS comprises policies, processes and responsibilities as approved by the senior manager accountable. Policy sections are structured according to functional context.
This QMS Policy & Process document is not a stand-alone document; it is designed to be read in conjunction with the associated procedural documents and tools to support process implementation. These are identified in the Policy & Process Document under 'Procedures'.
