Introduction to Communities of Aotearoa New Zealand

In this course, you will be applying knowledge of te ao Māori and of learning and development theories to early childhood education practice. You will also be delving deeper into the philosophies of the strands of te Whāriki and applying models of reflection to your own ECE practice. Finally, you will co-ordinate the planning of a cultural event, showing effective communication with peers, colleagues, whānau and the local community.
