Meet Aaliyah ...
Aaliyah works in an accounting firm, Ace Finance, which is dedicated to corporate accounting. Her role as an accountant requires her to understand and diligently follow the organisation’s policies and procedures, and legislative and regulatory requirements, to work autonomously and in a team, completing work activities relating to the provision of accounting services.
Her duties include:

Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Research and identify organisational policies and procedures relevant to her role.

Develop systems and guidelines for work procedures that comply with legislative requirements.

In this unit of competency, we will be following Aaliyah through her duties, and conducting several scenario-based activities that simulate some of the practices required of her to work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry.
