Welcome to Course 2 – Hospitality Strategic Management. This course incorporates core management skills, duties and responsibilities which will include finance and operations, and apply these within the hospitality sector.
In this course we will investigate the essential strategies managers need to operate successful hospitality businesses. We’ll take a look at some of the new trends which are around in the hospitality industry, both here in New Zealand and around the world. New developments mean new challenges, so you will need to explore some sustainable solutions to help overcome them.
We will also delve into the new technologies which are essential for running efficient hospitality and accommodation businesses in the modern business environment and study the key management techniques needed to drive innovation in the sector.
After that, this course will examine the key areas of business financial management and analysing financial statements to help maintain business profitability.
Alongside all of this, you will continue to develop your academic investigation and research skills.
