Welcome to Module 1 and the beginning of your journey through Creative Media.

In this module, we will explore the concepts and details of Design. This will include:

• Design Principles
• Composition
• Exploring your Target Audience
• Time Management
• Cultural Awareness in Design
• Critique and Evaluation.

Software Labs

Throughout this module, you will have the opportunity to exercise and explore the practical elements of Design in the Software Labs.

Design Software Labs have step-by-step instructions using the programs:

• Photoshop
• Illustrator.

Creative Activities 

Creative activities are an opportunity for you to apply your new-found knowledge. You will be asked a question or provided a case study and directed to implement this in CANVA. 

These do not need to be submitted as part of your assessment; however, it is a great opportunity to create work to keep as part of your portfolio and to allow you to practice before your assessment.
