Pathways

After completing the course, you may seek employment opportunities in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia, in one of the following roles:

• Early childhood educator (previously known as childcare worker)
• Family day care educator
• Out of school hours care educator.

Alternatively, you may want to continue your studies with a diploma-level course, such as the

• CHC50121 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care,
• or a higher level education qualification, such as the Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching.
