SUBJECT OVERVIEW

This course investigates product development and change in the hospitality industry and considers a range of strategic responses that have emerged in New Zealand and Internationally. There are two main aspects to this course being

  1. the skill sessions AND
  2. key content –trends and responding to change

 

The main course focuses on current industry trends, what trends are being developed, and what has triggered these trends, as well as their impact.

Students will also be looking at responses to change made in the industry and how to evaluate and analyse the data around change.

ASSESSMENT

This is an online written, open-book assessment. Both tasks are individual exercises.
