In this lesson, we'll explore the fundamentals of Content Marketing. We’ll take a look at the content funnel, what makes viral content and how to use the inverted pyramid technique to write engaging copy.
We'll take a look at how blogging can be used as a powerful tool for business promotion and you'll apply what you have learned to develop engaging posts of your own.

  1. Create drafts for 2 social media posts, based on your target audience research. Include a schedule of platforms and frequency for social media posts.
Where possible, create your posts as drafts using the social media platform(s) and capture screenshots to show how the posts will display online.
  2. Make sure your posts:
    • Use language and imagery that are appropriate for the target audience, brand and campaign
    • Are accurate representations of how they will display on the chosen platforms

Post your draft posts and schedule to your thread in the Practicals Forum.
Please include the title "Practical 10: Draft Content" in your post.
The work you complete in this practical may also be applied to Assessment 2.

Learning together: We learn better with a little encouragement and discussion. Check out the answers of other students and leave a comment on their posts too.
