Welcome to CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

This course will allow you to work as a Personal Care Assistant in various environments within the community. The course will educate you in the world of individualized person-centred support and teach you a wide array of skills and abilities that will build your character, your confidence and ignite the existing passion you already have, to care and support vulnerable people.

Important notice

From 1 July 2024, the residential aged care system changed to give older people more control of their choices. In addition, the government is building a new Aged Care Act which will replace the:

  • Aged Care Act 1997
  • Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Act 1997 and
  • Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018.

The new Act aims to improve the ways services are delivered to older people in their homes, community settings and approved residential aged care homes. It will lead to fundamental changes in the aged care sector that includes:
