ICHM and eddy pride themselves on providing exceptional student experiences and as such supporting students throughout their learning journey is of utmost importance. This topic will outline how students will access support throughout their studies.

Sub Topics

All students will have access to a student portal while studying the ICHM Online Bachelor of Business. To a student, their portal and platform should be indistinguishable. The student portal acts as the student's course homepage and provides access to all online campus services. It is important to note that only students will have access to the student portal and will not appear within your profile.

Students will access a range of services my clicking on their profile picture:

  • Profile - 'My Profile' allows students to update their personal information and change their profile picture and display (preferred) name
  • Enrolment  - 'My Enrolment' displays key information to students about their enrolment, the subjects, and census dates as well as grades
  • Services - 'My Services' is the key area for students to access support and important information to online campus services
  • Online libraries - 'Library' acts as the gateway to a range of online libraries available to the student
  • Policies, procedures, and forms - 'Policies' provide a gateway for students to access all key student information

My Services

Through this selection, students will be taken to a page that will allow students to access support via an online form labeled 'Ask for Support'.

This online form will allow students to select from a range of services by choosing their 'Enquiry Type'. Through this selection, the student's query will automatically be directed to the correct team to assist.

The 'My Services' page also provides students with additional information relating to online services.

As outlined in the 'Communicating with Students' topic within this subject, a range of functions exist within the platform for the students to receive academic support. These include:

  • Student forums
    • Peer support
    • Lecturer and academic support
  • Platform messaging
    • Peer support
    • Lecturer and academic support
  • Virtual classroom
    • Lecturer and academic support

In addition to the Student Portal and in-platform support, students will also have access to non-academic support through phone and email.
