The Cisco Networking Academy’s Networking Essentials 2.0 (NetEss 2.0) course provides learners with a broad foundational understanding of networking. It is suitable for anyone interested in a career in ITC, or a related career pathway. NetEss 2.0 is self-paced. The primary emphasis is on networking knowledge with a small number of basic skills that are useful for a home or SOHO network.

Total Tasks: 5 groups, 20 modules
Description: This course is designed for self-paced learning. There are 20 modules in this course. Each module contains all of the content, videos, activities and self-assessments to prepare you for the knowledge and skills presented in the module group and final exams. Modules are grouped together based on the desired outcomes of the course.  There are 4 modules in each Module Group.
Time Budget: 5–7 hours per module, 70 hours total

Description: At the end of the course, you can obtain a certificate of completion after you successfully complete the Course Completion module. To adequately prepare for the final assessment, it is recommended that you view all of the content and perform the labs, activities and assessments for each module.
