Getting to the Student Portal
To get to the Student Portal, click your name in the top right corner of the screen.
Here you can view and edit some of your profile details, find support for your learning material and discover policies around enrolment and assessments.
What's in the Student Portal?
The student portal is your area for information about your enrolment, support resources, and the Student Handbook.
My profile
This section is for your photo, contact information, and bio. You cannot modify your name or email address because they are tied to your enrolment, but you can personalise everything else.
Activity: Personalise your profile
Your portal is your personal space on your online campus so let’s start by making your mark on it!
- Click your name
- Click My profile
- Notice the placeholder for your profile photo, click the pencil to edit it
- Browse your computer for the image you want to use (keep in mind, this is public)
- Select it and click Open
- Adjust the image to scale
- Click the button to Save Changes

How to leave the student portal
To return to your learning materials, click RETURN TO COURSE on the left of the hamburger menu while the Student Portal is open.
Activity – Get to know the Student Handbook
The Student Handbook is a guide for students on our policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, as well as the services and support available to you as an online student.
- Add a bookmark (three-dot-menu to the right of the subtopic heading) to this section so you can easily return
- Click your name to open the Student Portal
- Click Policies from the Student Portal menu
- Locate the Student Handbook and click it, which will open in a new tab
- Take time to read through the Student Handbook, and ensure you understand our policies.
