About this programme
This programme is designed for those who are passionate about the travel and tourism industry and want to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this dynamic and exciting field. Over the course of the program, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the travel and tourism industry, including its history, key players, and emerging trends. You'll learn about travel marketing, customer service, and business management, and gain practical experience through industry-specific case studies and projects.
Throughout the programme, you'll have the opportunity to develop knowledge and a range of important skills, including communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. Each course will follow a standard pattern:
- Live Sessions - here you will find your online classes for each of your modules. Remember this is a great opportunity to engage with your tutor and your peers.
- Modules - each subject will be displayed as a module and is where you access your forums, learning, and assessment.
- Forums - each module will contain forums. Here you will have access to your tutor and your peers to discuss the module, the industry, and any questions you may have.
- Topics - the content will be separated into topics and sub-topics and provides you with the learning required for each module.
- Learning Activities - within each topic, you will be presented with learning activities for you to complete. These may include reflection tasks, forum discussions, or even a short quiz. These activities are not graded but are important for you to ensure you have understood the content and are ready for assessment. We strongly recommend you complete all the learning activities assigned to each module.
- Assessments - At the end of each module there will be assessments for you to complete. Your online tutor will advise the due dates.
